What is a PDF to PNG converter?

It renders each page of a PDF and saves it as a PNG, a lossless image format. Lossless is the operative word. JPG compression smudges hard edges, and a page full of text is nothing but hard edges. A PNG keeps every letter exactly as the page drew it, no fuzz around the strokes.
