Yes or No Wheel
A completely random wheel picker. Make decisions, pick winners, or play games instantly.
About the Yes or No Wheel
This Yes or No Wheel is the ultimate random decision maker. We built it to be flexible, fun, and fair. Whether you are struggling to make a simple choice (like "what's for dinner?") or hosting a raffle for a group of friends, this tool handles it all. Unlike physical spinners, our digital wheel is perfectly balanced, ensuring a truly random result every time you spin.
You can use it for more than just "Yes or No" questions. The input box allows you to add as many options as you like. You can paste a list of names to pick a contest winner, enter numbers for a lottery, or create your own game of Truth or Dare. We also added advanced features like "Mystery Mode" to hide the answers until the spin finishes, and a scoreboard to track how many times each option wins.
How to Use This Tool
- Add Options: Type your choices into the text box on the right. Put each option on a new line. The wheel updates instantly as you type.
- Spin: Click the big blue "SPIN!" button. The wheel will accelerate and then slowly friction-stop on a random segment.
- Customize: Use the toggle switches to turn on sound effects, confetti animations, or "Mystery Mode" (which hides the text on the wheel for suspense).
- Remove Winners: If you are picking multiple unique winners (like for a raffle), toggle the "Remove winner after spin" switch. This automatically deletes the winning name from the list so they cannot be picked twice.
- Track Scores: The list at the bottom shows a counter next to each item, tracking how many times it has won during your session.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the wheel truly random?
Yes. The wheel uses a physics-based algorithm combined with the browser's native random number generator. The stopping point is calculated precisely to ensure every segment has an equal mathematical probability of winning.
How many options can I add?
You can add as many options as you like. However, for the best visual experience, we recommend keeping it under 50 items so the text remains readable on the wheel segments. If you add more, the slices become very thin!
Does it save my list?
Currently, the tool resets if you refresh the page. We designed it for quick, instant sessions. If you have a long list you use often, we recommend saving it in a text file on your computer and pasting it in when needed.
Can I rig the wheel?
No, this tool is designed to be fair. There are no hidden settings to force a specific result. It works purely on random chance.
Is this tool free?
Yes, the Yes or No Wheel is completely free to use. There are no limits on spins and no ads inside the wheel itself.
